Blü consists of some of Boston’s top beauty professionals, including hair, make-up, nail and color specialists with decades of experience. Master colorists Kayla Nowell and Virginia Xigoros complete the color staff with their signature techniques. The cutting staff is seasoned, skilled and very attentive.

Virginia has been a stylist on Newbury St. since 1996, specializing in textured hairstyles. She received training at Bumble & Bumble, Sebastian, Rusk, and Goldwell and enjoys taking classes to motivate her creativity and bring new ideas into her salon. She creates a style that fits your personality. Her color techniques help you enhance your dramatic or soft look. Another passion of hers is special events, including weddings. She ensures that you will leave looking and feeling your best. Virginia specializes in SO.CAP extensions and the innovative Keratin Treatment.
 

Kayla Nowel - Master Colorist

Kayla's passion for hair coloring and cutting has span almost two decades. Her training continues as she has become a certified SO.CAP extension specialist and a hair straightening specialist with both Bio Ionic straighteners and the new Keratin Straighteners. She has been presented with the prestigious "Up and Coming Hair Color Newsmaker" Award as well as being a Goldwell Hair Color guest artist. She has also been an Educator and platform artist for ArtTec coloring system. You can find some of her work in Boston Magazine as well as in Independent Films.

Bee is a talented hair stylist and colorist with an impeccable sense of style. She loves cutting with geometric precision to create fresh innovative looks that are simultaneously edgy and classic. With Bee's intuitive sense of color clients immediately realize they are speaking to someone who truly understands the art and science of hair color.
 

Erica Tassone - Stylist

Erica has recently relocated to Boston from the Berkshires. She has been working as a stylist for over a decade. Her passion for hair includes doing color, various highlighting techniques, cutting, & creating many styles: from a simple natural look to something trendy & modern. She enjoys doing elegant formal updo's for bridal parties or special occasions. Erica finds it gratifying knowing her clients look & feel their absolute best. Erica has trained with Redken, Sebastian, Keyano, Aveda, Goldwell, Bumble & Bumble.
